Charlotte J Mortenson

Charlotte J. Mortenson of Hebron, KY formerly of Dillsboro passed away August 6, 2017 at her home. Charlotte was born August 5, 1924 in Des Moines, IA daughter of Charles and Stella (Gay) Carter. She married Arthur John Mortenson and he preceded her in death August 20, 1997.

She was a member of the Sons of Norway, Ladies Auxiliary of Fairview Nursing, Lefse making committee.  Charlotte was a RN for 32 years working at the Owatonna Hospital in MN. After, she retired he worked for her husband in the drug store.  She enjoyed quilting, volunteering at the school. She loved her family very much.

Charlotte is survived by son: Terry (Margie) Mortenson of Hebron, KY; daughters: Kari (Bruce) Nelson of Denver, CO and (AFS) Candayce (Pat) Detloff of Oregon City, Oregon. Brother: Robert (Marilyn) Carter of Windfield, KS; sister: Ragena Bone of Parsons, KS. 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters and one brother.
