Martha R. Miller

Martha R. Miller, 94 of Moores Hill passed away Monday January 22, 2018 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. Martha was born December 19, 1923 in Follansbee, West Virginia the daughter of Joseph and Mary E. (Adkins) West. She married Elvin “Nip” Miller May 18, 1946 and he preceded her in death March 14, 2017.   She was a member of the Moores Hill Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star.  Martha was a business owner and she graduated Moores Hill High School in 1941. She enjoyed traveling, and dancing.

     Martha is survived by step-sons: Gerald Miller of Moores Hill; Ronald (Cindy) Miller of Lawrenceburg; Daughter: Dorothy (Ted) White of Milan; 6 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.  Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers: Robert and Joseph West.

     Funeral services will be 1PM Thursday January 25, 2017 at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home in Moores Hill with Rev. Ted Hammrick officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Moores Hill. Visitation will also be Thursday 11-1PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ripley Crossing Activity fund, Moores Hill Methodist Church or Moores Hill Life Squad.
