Maxine Norman

Maxine Norman, 92 of Milan passed away October 30, 2017 at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. Maxine was born September 10, 1925 in Cincinnati, OH the daughter of Oda and Bernice (Hines) Garrett. She married Orville Norman February 12, 1944 and he preceded her in death February 5, 2003. Maxine was a former member of Full Gospel Christian Center in Bright. She worked for Campbell Hausfeld in Harrison, and volunteered at Margaret Mary Hospital.  She enjoyed reading the bible, being a prayer warrior for others, coloring, embroiling, word searching, crafts and spending time with her family.   

      Maxine is survived by sons: Aaron Norman of Milan; David (Shelly) Norman of Plymouth, IN; daughters: Rita (Art) Tebelman of Milan; Melinda (Stan) Blanken of Batesville.  Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband: Orville Norman; two daughters: Myra Sorber and Rosemary Norman; brother: Louis Garrett.  
 

  Funeral services will be at 1 PM on Sunday November 5, 2017 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Dwayne Barrows officiating. Burial will follow at Craven Cemetery. Visitation will be November 4, Saturday 4PM-6PM also at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Donor’s Choice.
