Raymond W. Coover

Raymond W. Coover, living his 88th year of life, of West Chester, Ohio and formerly of Milan passed away at his home on Saturday evening, November 25th.  Raymond was born Thursday May 8, 1930 in Gary, Indiana the son of Lloyd and Margarete (Teegarden) Coover.  He married Arlene (Grosz) Coover June 14, 1959 and she preceded him in death December 15, 2007.  Raymond was a lumber inspector for Millcreek Lumber Co. in Cincinnati for many years and was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Milan. 

     Ray is survived by his companion Terry Carney of West Chester, sons Charles (Sandra) Coover of Lebanon, Ohio; Jeff (Kelly) Coover of Cincinnati; daughters Rita (Randy) Tank of Moline, Illinois and Barbara Coover of Fairfield; 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Coover and a son Thomas Coover in 1986.

     Funeral services for Ray will be at 12 Noon Saturday December 2, 2017 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7124 N. St. Rd 101, Milan, In 47031 with Pastor Susan Socha officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:30 until noon Saturday at the church.  Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.  Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan entrusted with  Ray’s arrangements, (812)654-2141.  Go to www.lawscarrmoore.com to leave and online condolence message for the family.
