Clayton Bushman Obituary
Clayton F. Bushman, 88, of Milan passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at The Waters of Dillsboro. Clayton was born Monday, March 30, 1931 in Greensburg, Indiana, the son of Walter and Pauline (Lakamp) Bushman. He married Mildred Wolfe, the love of his life and she preceded him in death. Clayton retired from General Motors as a supervisor in the Fischer Body division for 30 + years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Manchester, IN, Moose Lodge of Aurora, and American Legion in Moores Hill post# 209. He enjoyed karaoke singing, pitching horseshoes, being with his wife and family.
Clayton is survived by son Randy (Teresa) Bushman; step-sons: Greg (Tilda) Tillery and Scott (Melissa) Tillery; step-daughters Debbie (Dave) Thomas and Cynthia Brown; daughter in-laws: Denise Bushman and Melissa Bushman; 2 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 7 step grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; 2 step great-great grandchildren; sisters: Joan (George) Kaiser and Judy (Ronald) Bennett; sister-in-law Linda (Roger) Bushman; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sons: Butch, Mike and Jack Bushman; daughter Linda Bushman; brothers: Denton (Estelle), Estal (Charlene), Floyd (Eleanor), Gordon, John (Patricia) and Roger Bushman and sister Opal (Tilford) Dupps.
A service celebrating his life will be held 12 PM Tuesday, June 18 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan, with Pastor Creighton Leptak officiating. Full military rites provided by the Moores Hill American Legion Post # 209. Burial will follow 2:30 PM Tuesday, June 18 at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011, (513) 895-3278. Family and friends may gather to share and remember him 10 AM - 12 PM Tuesday, June 18 also at the funeral home.
