Dorothy E. Ward, 90, of Moores Hill passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at her home with family by her side. Dorothy was born Friday, March 22, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Willard and Mary (Kelley) Naegele. She married George Ward July 2, 1949 and he preceded her in death October 30, 1987. Dorothy was a homemaker and her hobbies included: sewing, quilt making, seamstress, watching western movies, canning and gardening.
Dorothy is survived by sons: Ron (Debra) Ward of Pittsboro and James “Jim” Ward of Dinosaur, Colorado; daughter-in-law Sandy Ward; six granddaughters; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Daniel and Thomas Ward, and sister Juanita Dessauer.
Family and friends may gather to remember Dorothy at a graveside service to be held 11 AM Monday, October 28 at Oakdale Cemetery, Beatty Road, Dillsboro, IN 47018.
