Glenn Connely

August 6, 1942 ~ May 26, 2017 (age 74) 74 Years Old

Glenn P. Connely, 74 of Pierceville passed away Friday May 26, 2017 at University Hospital in Cincinnati.  Glenn was born Thursday August 6, 1942 in Milan the son of Harold and Altha (Beggs) Connely.  Glenn had been employed over the years at Dearborn County Hospital, Hill Rom, and lastly Pamida in Batesville.  He is a member of the Pierceville United Methodist Church and was a member of the CB Helping Hands Clubs having the handle of “Shadow.”  Glenn was a man who enjoyed helping others, and who read his Bible every night before going to bed.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, bird watching, and nature in general. 

     Glenn is survived by brother Philip (Wilodean) Connely of Fairdale, Kentucky, sister-in-law Mary Connely of Pierceville, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother Jim Connely in 2014.

     Funeral services will be at 10AM Wednesday May 31at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Jack Bible officiating.  Burial will follow in New Craven Cemetery at Milan.  Visitation will also be Wednesday 8-10AM at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given to the Pierceville United Methodist Church.  Laws-Carr-Moore entrusted with the arrangements.  Go to www.lawscarrmoore.com to leave an online condolence message.
