Linda (Huddleston) Ryle

Linda Ryle 67 of Farmers Retreat passed away Monday April 2 at her home.  Linda was born Tuesday April 25, 1950 at Bonnieblue, Virginia the daughter of Charles and Jewell (Chasteen) Huddleston.  She married Lucian “Sonny” Ryle December 21, 1968 and he preceded her in death November 4, 2011.  She had been employed as an assembly worker at Grote Industries at Madison.  She was a member of Cedars of Lebanon Church at Dillsboro, and was active in the fellowship and women Bible studies at the church.  She enjoyed her flowers, cooking, gardening, canning, her animals and her grandchildren.  She enjoyed going to car shows with her husband, was a big NASCAR fan and also enjoyed fishing, and the fishing derby for the church. 

     Linda is survived by her sons Tony and Tim (Kelly) Ryle both of Dillsboro, brothers James and Bobby Huddleston both of Bright and Chuck Huddleston of Versailles, and grandchildren Luke, Shawn and Miranda Ryle. 

     Funeral services will be 2PM Friday April 6 at Cedars of Lebanon Church 11685 Station Hollow Road, Moores Hill near Dillsboro with Pastor Charles Hill officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery at Dillsboro.  Visitation will be 3-7PM Thursday April 5 at the church.  Memorials may be  made in her memory to Cedars of Lebanon Fellowship.  Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements, Box 146 Dillsboro, In., 47018; (812)432-5480.  Go to filterdevriesmoorefuneralhome to leave an online condolence message for the family.
