Louise Parker Obituary

            Louise Parker, 72, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Milan passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Carrollwood Care Center in Florida.  Louise was born Saturday, July 12, 1947 in Osgood, Indiana, the daughter of the late Samuel and Jeanette (Rice) Powell.  Louise was a homemaker; former member of Rockey Creek Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida; and former member of the Milan American Legion Auxiliary.  Louise was one of a kind; she enjoyed sitting around talking and having a good time with family and friends.  She enjoyed music and going to horse races.

            Louise is survived by sons James Darrin Parker (Myrtle) of Rising Sun and Thomas Keith Parker (Barbara) of Versailles; grandson Wyatt (Jordon); granddaughters Kayla (Josh), Rachel (Tyler) and Jessica (Derreck); great- grandchildren: Jonathan, Delany, James, Conner, Remmington, Ollis and Ryan; brother Evert (Sandy) Powell of New Mexico; sisters Veta Bell of Falmouth, Kentucky; Lorena Bonfer Houston of Crystal River, Florida; Pearl (Joe) Wagner of Westport; and Rose (Kenny) Arkenberg of Milan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ermon and sister-in-law Ethel Powell, and brother-in-law David Bell.

            A service celebrating her life will be held 10 AM Tuesday, December 3 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Tom Holt officiating.  Burial will follow in Mud Pike Cemetery.  Family and friends may gather to share and remember her 5 - 7 PM Monday, December 2 also at the funeral home with Milan American Legion Auxiliary service at 7 PM.   Memorials may be given in honor of Louise to the Milan American Legion Auxiliary.  Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements, 707 S Main Street, Box 243, Milan, Indiana 47031, (812)654-2141.  You may go to www.lawscarrmoore.com to leave an online condolence message for the family.
