Mabel Deaton

Mabel Deaton, 99 of Milan passed away Saturday September 16, 2017 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. Mabel was born Sunday March 10, 1918 in Gays Creek, KY, the daughter of Harlan and Elizabeth (Begley) Hacker. She married Joe R. Deaton February 3, 1937 and he preceded her in death August 20, 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church on the Rock Assembly of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family.  

     Mabel is survived by sons: James (Mary) Deaton and Joe Jr. (Sharon) Deaton both of Milan. 7 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter: Joanie Deaton, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

     Funeral services will be at 10AM on Tuesday September 19, 2017 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral home with Rev. Roger Dean officiating.  Visitation will be Monday 5-7PM also at the funeral home.
