Alice Abner Bruns was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the age of 76. Alice was born to Isaac and Myrtle (Gabbard) Abner on Sunday, February 3, 1946 in Owsley County, Kentucky. She married Tom Bruns in 1993 and he preceded her in death 5 days previous. Between them they had a blended family of 8 children, 21 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice was a Christian and a member of Moores Hill Baptist Church. When grandchildren came to visit, she would always share important Bible verses or stories with them. She was an excellent seamstress and an avid reader, but her favorite job by far was being a Memaw.
Alice touched many lives and will be sorely missed by all.
