Alice Lee (Lohrum) Mathias, 86, of Dillsboro passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at her home. Alice was born on Friday, April 29, 1938, in Elrod; daughter of Albert and Eunice (Elrod) Lohrum. Alice married the love of her life, Donald “Don” Mathias Sr., in 1960, and he survives her. Alice was an HR Manager at Ohio Rod Products for 20+ years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Farmers Retreat and enjoyed reading and cooking.

       Alice will be missed by her loving husband Don Mathias Sr. of Dillsboro; son Don (Julie) Mathias Jr. of Dillsboro; sister Linda Bruce of Osgood; grandson Anthony Mathias; and great-granddaughter Brooklyn Mathias.

       Alice was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Eunice Lohrum.

       Services will be held privately at the request of the family. Memorials may be given in honor of Alice to Dillsboro Summer Ball League or Navy Marine Corps Relief Society.
