Barry Delane Ryan Obituary

       Barry Delane Ryan, 74, of Milan passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at his home with his loving family by his side. Barry was born on Sunday, November 28, 1948 in Sayler Park, Ohio; son of William Ryan Sr. and Wilma (Wright) Ryan. Barry married the love of his life, Kathy (Day) Ryan, on November 25, 1967 and she survives. Barry worked in auto body repair at Todd Wrecker Service. Barry was a fireman for Milan Fire Department. He loved racing and fishing. Barry most of all cherished spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.


       Barry will be missed by his wife, Kathy Ryan of Milan; son Dean Ryan of Milan; brothers Vaughn (Sue) Ryan of Moores Hill and Darryl (Carol) Ryan of Batesville; sister Delilah Caudill of Lawrenceburg; granddaughter Delanee Ryan of Greendale; long-time friend Danny Eichler of Milan; sister-in-law MaryLou Ryan; as well as many nieces and nephews.


       Barry was preceded in death by his parents William Ryan Sr. and Wilma Ryan; siblings William Ryan Jr., LaVerne (Fritz) Auel, Bradford (Pam) Ryan, and Lanny (Connie) Ryan.


       A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date. Memorials may be given in honor of Barry to the Donor’s Choice.
