Bill J Wullner, 85, of Lawrenceburg passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born to Ivan and Edith (Schwab) Wullner in Manchester Township, Indiana on June 11, 1935. He was married to Shirley Wullner (Cummins) for 65 years. Bill was employed at I&M Electric Company for 40 years. He was a member of the IHSAA and inductee of the Basketball Hall of Fame. Bill loved all sports, as a participant and a coach. He was quite competitive – his motto was “it’s all about winning.”
Bill is survived by his wife Shirley Wullner of Lawrenceburg, IN; daughters Terri Conklin of Kemah, TX and Tracey Schnebelt (Joe) of Greendale, IN; three granddaughters Courtney Conklin, Kelsey Conklin Miller (Aaron), and Taylor Schnebelt; and three great-grandchildren Campbell Conklin, Madden Miller, and Memphis Miller. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Edith, and his sister Bonnie Elliott.
There are no services planned at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Bill to the Alzheimer’s Association.
