**UPDATED ARRANGEMENTS**

        Donald Gene “Rooster” Centers, 82, of Aurora passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Waters of Dillsboro. Donald was born on Sunday, November 8, 1942, in Milan; son of Judge and Carrie (Shockley) Centers. Donald married Georgia Lee (Cox) Centers, and she precedes him. He served in the United States Air Force and worked as a factory worker at Monsanto. He was a member of the Aurora Fraternal Order of Eagles. Donald enjoyed going fishing and had a passion for antique cars.

       Donald will be missed by his daughters Jennifer Centers of Lawrenceburg and Karen Centers of Aurora; stepson Jeff Nolan of Indianapolis; grandchildren Douglas Centers, Shane Nolan, Travis Nolan, and Jessica Woliung; and great-grandchild KJ Woliung.

       Donald was preceded in death by his parents Judge and Carrie Centers; wife Georgia Centers; stepson Larry Nolan; 3 sisters; and 5 brothers.

       A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:30-5:00 PM, Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Aurora American Legion: 119 Bridgeway St., Aurora, IN 47001. Memorials may be given in honor of Donald to PAWS of Dearborn County or Alzheimer’s Association.
