Ernest Lee Kinman, 78, of Moores Hill passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the Veterans Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ernest was born on Saturday, April 17, 1943 in Aurora, Indiana; son of William G. and Dorthy M. (Sturgeon) Kinman. Ernest proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Milan American Legion Post #235. Ernest loved his dogs. He enjoyed watching movies, sports, and television in general, and was an avid Civil War historian.

          Ernest will be missed by his son Billy (Andy) Kinman of Milan; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

          Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorthy Kinman, and daughters Tina Wells and Sherry Meeks.

          Family and friends may gather in remembering Ernest from 3:00 - 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will be held immediately following at 5:00 PM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Full military rites will be provided by the Milan American Legion Post #235. Memorials may be given in honor of Ernest to Boys Town and P.A.W.S. of Dearborn County.
