Janie Rose (Jett) Wise, 71, of Milan passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Christ Hospital. Janie was born on Wednesday, March 19, 1952, in Covington, Kentucky; daughter of Lemmual and Lelia (Sumner) Jett. Janie married the love of her life, John Wise Sr., on January 25, 1976, and he survives. Janie worked as a chemist at Fernald. She enjoyed writing books, going fishing, and riding horses. Most of all Janie cherished spending time with her loving family.

       Janie will be greatly missed by her husband John Wise Sr. of Milan; son John (Jenny) Wise Jr. of Versailles; daughter Melinda Keppler of Milan; brother Dester (Theresa) Jett of Aurora; sister Barbara Burmmett of Sunman; and grandchildren Gracelyn Wise and Christian Wise.

       Janie was preceded in death by her parents Lemmual and Lelia Jett.

       There are no services. Memorials may be given in honor of Janie to the family.
