Jean Deamron Obituary

            Jean Deamron, 88, of Dillsboro passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at her residence with family by her side.  Jean was born Monday, November 2, 1931 in Dillsboro, Indiana, the daughter of the late Edna (Warner) and Leon Jackson.  She married Philip Deamron on July 14, 1951 and he preceded her in death July 22, 2006.  Jean attended River Valley Community Church in Madison, Indiana.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and her flowers.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved and served the Lord.

            Jean is survived by her sons: Dan (Amy) Deamron of N. C., Larry (Jean) Deamron of Ellettsville, IN, and Randy (Lora) Deamron of Dillsboro; daughters Debbie (Rod) Hamilton of Dillsboro, Melody Richardson of Dillsboro, and Pamela (David) Kitchell of Dillsboro; sisters Janet Walton of Rising Sun and Phyllis (Robert) Bischoff of Dillsboro; many grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Philip, parents Edna and Leon, brother Clarence Jackson, brother-in-law Everett Walton, and son-in-law Bruce Richardson.

            Family and friends may gather to share and remember her 10 AM – 12 Noon Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro.  A service celebrating her life will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, August 18 also at the funeral home with Rev.
