Larry E. "Pete" "Mudflap" Allen

Larry E. “Pete” “Mudflap” Allen, 71 of Milan passed away Sunday March 18 at his residence. Pete was born Monday July 8, 1946 in Batesville the son of Kenneth and Glenna Mae (McMullen) Allen.  He married Geraldine (Bernau) Allen November 20, 1982 and she survives.  He was a boilermaker with local union #105 at Piketon, Ohio. 

     Pete is survived by wife Geraldine, son Tyler (Carah) Allen of Milan, daughters Wendy (Brian) Beatty and  Karen (Matt) Moreillon both of Greendale, Dawn (Clay) Tinnell of Florence, Ky, sister Sandra (Ronnie) Downey of Harrison, Oh, 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, and a great niece Isabella. 

     Pete was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, local union 105, and loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with the family. 

     Services will be at 7PM Thursday March 22 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Ty Choate officiating.  Burial will be at a later time at Greendale Cemetery at Greendale.  Visitation will be 5-7 Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given to the family.  Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, entrusted with arrangements, 707 So.
