Michael Lee Dilts, 44, of Rising Sun passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at his home. Michael was born on Thursday, July 5, 1979, in Lawrenceburg; son of Roy and Margaret (Vornheder) Dilts. He worked at Proximo in the warehouse as a fork-lift operator. Michael was a member of the Jeep Club and the NRA. He enjoyed going hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and traveling. Michael loved to listen to old country music and also loved to cook, especially using his smoker.

       Michael will be missed by his girlfriend Brandi White of Rising Sun; mother Margaret Dilts of Milan; brothers Justin Dilts of Mason and Ryan (Angie) Taylor of Aurora; and several step-brothers and step-sister.

       Michael was preceded in death by his father Roy Dilts and stepfather Roger Cline.

       A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-6:00 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Milan American Legion; 318 E. Indian Trail, Milan, IN 47031. Memorials may be given in honor of Michael to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the American Cancer Society.
