Norma Madeline (Sullivan) Batchelor

            Norma Madeline (Sullivan) Batchelor, 83, of Moores Hill passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Norma was born on Sunday, February 12, 1939 in Cleves, Ohio; daughter of Charles and Susie (Chance) Sullivan. Norma married Clarence “Batch” Batchelor on July 14, 1966. Norma worked for Anchor Glass, Crosley Field, Argosy, Jay-C Food Store, and retired from Seagram bottling line. She was a member of the Moores Hill Fire Department Auxiliary. Norma enjoyed sewing quilts, photography, making floral arrangements, gardening, canning, and traveling to Vegas with the ladies from Seagrams. Her greatest passion in life was spending time with her family.

            Norma will be missed by her son Charles Batchelor of Moores Hill; daughters Katheryn (Tony) Starkey of Holton and Rebecca (Danny) Smith of Moores Hill; grandchildren: Brittany Herbert (Vern); Colin Dunn, Wyatt Starkey (Isabel), Nathan Batchelor (Amber), Sabrina Smith, and Erica Starkey; one great-grandson Dakoda Mockbee; sister Susan (Ron) Davis; and sister-in-law Donna Sullivan.

            Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Susie Sullivan, her siblings Thomas Sullivan, Mayme Craig, Charles Sullivan, Wilma Edwards, Elmer Sullivan, Mary Folke, Robert Sullivan, and many in-laws.

            Family and friends may gather in remembering Norma and Clarence “Batch” from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor William Seacrest officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Norma to the family.
