Roger Hartman Obituary

       Roger Hartman (Catman), currently of Osgood, passed away on December 8, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born March 24, 1955, in Batesville, IN to the parents of Marjorie (Brankamp) and Alvadore Hartman.


       He is survived by his daughter Thelma (Bryson) Walke of Batesville; grandkids Sabrina Schneider, Austin Schneider, and two great-grandchildren; sisters Jean Johnson of Milan, Rose Hartman of St. Paul, and Diane Hornbuckle of Baltimore, Maryland; along with numerous nieces and nephews.


       In addition to his parents Alvadore and Marjorie, he was preceded in death by his sister Janet Hartman; brothers Mark Hartman and Francis “Puffy” Hartman; and brother-in-law Gary Johnson.


       Roger had many friends and never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and hanging out with the Renegades. Working on cars and small engines was always a gift, he would help anyone out when needed. Roger will be remembered for his quirky personality and practical jokes.


       Memorials may be given in honor of Roger to the donor’s choice.
