Sharon A. (Starker) Adams, 80, of Aurora passed away Friday, May 15, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center. Sharon was born on Tuesday, May 14, 1946, in Milan; daughter of Gerald and Leona (Mefford) Starker. She married the love of her life, Steven Adams, on November 10, 1964, and he survives. Sharon worked as a respiratory therapist for Dearborn County Hospital, retired from James B. Wismann Home for Youth, and was a member of the Aurora First Baptist Church. She enjoyed looking at and taking photos and loved flowers. She was known to be a wonderful homemaker and was a very good cook.

       Sharon will be missed by her husband of 61 years, Steven Adams of Aurora; sons Fred (Cindy) Adams of Cedar Grove, Indiana and Steven (Traci) Adams of North Port, Florida; daughters Stephanie (Wesley) Riley of Lawrenceburg and Amy (Brent) Casebolt of Moores Hill; sister Lavonne (Arthur) Wilson of Independence, Kentucky; grandchildren Joey and Kim Adams, Montanna and Brad Roland, Jesse and Ariel Adams, Alex Adams and Carissa Craft, Dylan and Courtney Casebolt, Morgan “Tate” Adams, MacKenzie Casebolt and Aidan Smock, Hayden Holt, and Hunter Duwel; and many great-grandchildren.

       Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Leona Starker; brothers David, Donnie, and Danny Starker and sister Joan Franks.

       Family and friends may gather in remembering Sharon from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Aurora: 6060 Blair Rd, Aurora, IN 47001. Services will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor William Secrest officiating. Burial will follow at South Sparta Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Sharon to First Baptist Church of Aurora Elevator Fund.
