Shirley (Watkins) Collini, 76, of Moores Hill passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side. Shirley was born on Friday, February 18, 1949, in Harlan, Kentucky; daughter of Roy and Louise Watkins. Shirley worked as a clerk for Hamilton County. She was a member of the New Southern Life Baptist Church. She enjoyed planting flowers and watching the movie, “The Color Purple.” Most of all Shirley loved her dogs and her family.

       Shirley will be missed by her son Donnie (Theresa) Curtis Jr.; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

       Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Louise Watkins; husband Donald Curtis Sr.; husband Joseph Collini; daughter Jennie Garrett; 3 sisters; and 7 brothers.

       Family and friends may gather in remembering Shirley from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, Friday, April 11,2025, at the New Life Southern Baptist Church: 19936 Schaeffer Rd., Sunman, IN 47041. Services will immediately follow at 12:00 PM with Brother Dwayne Barrows officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Shirley to the donor’s choice.
