UPDATED SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS

       Shirley L. (Bauer) Smith, 86, of Aurora passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, with her loving family by her side. Shirley was born on Friday, November 27, 1936 in Aurora; daughter of Frank and Margaret (Willoughby). Shirley married the love of her life; Joe Smith and he survives. Shirley was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Farmers Retreat. Shirley loved to do crafts and often went to craft shows to display her art. Most of all, Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family.
       Shirley will be missed by her husband Joe Smith of Aurora; sons Dan Smith of Aurora and Tom (Dianne) Smith of Osgood; daughter Jane Adkinson of Cincinnati; and granddaughter Jillian Teuerling of Cincinnati.

       Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Margaret Bauer; sons Michael Smith and Rusty Smith; and granddaughter Alyssa.

       Family and friends may gather in remembering Shirley from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Farmers Retreat. A service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jared Tucher officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Shirley to St. John Lutheran Church.
