Shirley E. (Fletcher) Turner

       Shirley E. (Fletcher) Turner, 87, of Milan passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville. Shirley was born on Wednesday, April 12, 1939, in Milan; daughter of Floyd Raymond Fletcher and Stella (Simpson) Fletcher. She worked as a secretary for Hill-Rom. She was an avid quilter, loved taking care of her yard and her garden, and loved her pets. Most of all Shirley loved her family.

       Shirley will be missed by her sons Douglas (Deborah) Turner and Daniel Turner; daughters Cammy Turner and Deanna Turner-Christensen; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

       Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Stella Fletcher; husband Dallas “Wayne” Turner; grandchild Matthew Turner; and several brothers and sisters.

       There are no services at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Shirley to Ripley County Humane Society.
