Thomas "Tom" G. Gilday Sr.

        Thomas “Tom” George Gilday Sr., 77, of Moores Hill passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Tom was born on Friday, July 21, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio; son of Richard and Lucille (Mock) Gilday. Tom graduated from Central high School in 1962. He married the love of his life Patricia “Pat” (Hice) Gilday on September 14, 1963. Tom held multiple jobs during his lifetime working for the Trolley Tavern, T & D Tavern, Squire Foods, and U.S. Foods. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Mopar fan. Tom enjoyed bowling, golfing, car shows, and his 1968 Charger. Tom and Pat raised three children, Lisa, Tom Jr., and Richard.

        Tom will be missed by his wife, Pat, of 58 years; his children Lisa Train, Tom Gilday Jr. (Paula), and Richard Gilday Sr. (Tonya); grandchildren Timothy Fields (Jennifer), Adam Gilday (Stacey), Megan Ridner (Hank), Michael Train (Ashton), Richard Gilday Jr, Christina Train Rice (Curt), and David Austin (Anne); and ten great grandchildren.

        Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lucille, son-in-law Mike Train, and grandson Danny Staten.

        Memorials may be given in honor of Tom to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
