Virginia "Golden" (McPherson) Witt

          Virginia Golden (McPherson) Witt, 94, of Milan passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. Golden was born on Monday, January 9, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio; daughter of Wilburn and Alta (Atchison) McPherson. Golden married Everette Witt on September 12, 1948 and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2002. She was a former member of the First Christian Church of Winchester, Kentucky and later transferred to Milan United Methodist Church. Golden was a Professional Interior Designer.

          Golden will be missed by her sisters-in-law Lucille Alloway of Milan and Maxine Witt of Hamilton, Ohio; nephews Robert McPherson of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Mike Alloway of Milan, David Helm of Cincinnati, Ohio, Brian and Mark Stogsdill both of Hamilton, Ohio; and nieces Virginia McPherson of Boynton Beach, Florida, Linda Helm of Mason, Ohio, Tina Witt of Cincinnati, Ohio and Claudina Helphinstine of Georgetown, Kentucky.

          Golden was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn and Alta Witt, husband Eugene Witt, and brother Alton McPherson.

          A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at New Craven Cemetery, 6930 E County Road 200 N, Milan, IN 47031, with Pastor Harris Long officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Golden to the Milan Library Fund.
