Wilma Mae (Shorten) Robbins, 80, of Milan passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at her home. Wilma was born on Thursday, October 5, 1944, in Ripley County; daughter of William and Mary (Helton) Shorten. Wilma worked as a cook at the Reservation Restaurant in Milan. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and working on puzzle books. Most of all Wilma loved and cherished her family.
Wilma will be missed by her sons Robert “Butch” Robbins Jr. of Fishers and Michael Robbins of Milan; daughter Sue Thompson of Milan; grandchildren Chris, Joey, Austin, and Shania; and great-grandchildren Prudence, Memphis, Maverick, and Noah.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Shorten; sister Phyllis Kirk; and father of children Robert Robbins Sr.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date. Memorials may be given in honor of Wilma to Providers for Autism Treatment and Habilitation in Batesville.
